And the lights were shining like stars:
rays poking themselves
out from the edge
dancing with the
In the distance
a distant star shined
brighter and brighter
as the night sky
whispered bedtime stories
in purple, hushed tones.
And the lights were shining
This is a view of the Empire State Building as seen from Brooklyn. The bridges in the immediate foreground is the Brooklyn Bridge and the other bridge is the lovely Manhattan Bridge. This is a 20 second long exposure taken with the Sony NEX-7. Sometimes there is nothing better than waiting for the lights to shine their brightest on summer nights while the shadows dance.
