This was taken while lost on a rain-soaked afternoon in Central Park with the Sony A99. Getting lost in the park is something that usually happens to me since I have such a, let’s say, complex relationship with my internal compass.
I adore a moody autumn afternoon especially after a good rain. The smell of the leaves on the wet ground, the faint scent of firewood that lingers in the air, the slip of the leaves underfoot, the sound of tiny waterfalls in The Ramble, the symphony of autumn colors: it’s overwhelming in the all the best ways.
