One of my favorite views of the Parachute Jump is at sunset standing on the Steeplechase Pier. The pier extends a nice distance out into the Atlantic Ocean and is a popular fishing spot. You can catch fluke, bluefish and bass off the pier. People also dive into the ocean from the pier even though there are tons of signs telling people not to jump :).
