The High Line. West Village, New York City. The High Line has definitely grown into one of my favorite public spaces on the West side of Manhattan. I love that flowers and wildlife have been successfully merged with old railroad tracks. The views are absolutely breath taking. “The High Line is a 1.45-mile New York City park built on a section of the former elevated freight railroad spur called the West Side Line, which runs along the lower west side of Manhattan; it has been redesigned and planted as an aerial greenway.
